A session is a time-bound piece of media content of a particular subject matter, such as a class, lesson or discussion topic. Many sessions are delivered online via live video conference or stream through the web browser, however recorded or uploaded sessions can also be streamed on demand.
Sessions specific to a Roomla are listed in that Roomla page, however sessions from other Roomlas can be discovered by search or by browsing the Roomla.com marketplace.
Access to view and/or participate in a sessions may be restricted to members only, requiring viewers to subscribe to the Roomla in order to engage with the session.
When a live session has opened for viewing (in other words, the manager has initiated the conference or stream), clicking on the center button adds the viewer to the session. If the session is a video conference, you participation using the device's mic and camera is possible.
A pre-recorded session can be streamed to the browser (no download necessary), and the playback, audio and viewing quality can be adjusted in the on-screen controls.
